Some people would shirk away from the panic and hustle of shooting in a crowded busy space, but I'm personally attracted to the idea of the action. Paul, Özge, and myself had originally decided to take a quiet, leisurely stroll, breathe in some pleasant ocean air, and catch a sun setting over the pacific. However, if photography has taught me anything over the last year, its that things will never go exactly as planned. Its a job about problem solving, and adapting to the situation. Little did we know, the whole Willows Park had been hijacked for the Oak Bay Tea Party, A bustling fair that happens every summer. Quiet? Heck no. Fun? Absolutely. We jumped right into the chaos to create something neat.
Everyone, meet Paul and Özge. These two are just too cute together, and Im sure they would have looked perfectly picturesque even without me to boss them around the beach. They're having a lovely rustic wedding up island at the end of this summer, and Im super stoked to be shooting it. Can't wait!
